A Chrome Extension for Permanent and Private Highlights on Any Web Page

Immediately asked for write access to my github. no thanks.

I can't figure out how to enable or activate this extension on all websites by default. I have assigned keyboard shortcut for the default highlight, but it is annoying to first enable this extension on every new website I visit, before I can start highlighting.

i am going to uninstall the extension right after downloading it, because it may seen my browsing history and even read and change my data on google, which is literally a welcoming hackers to do what ever they wanted to they can steal every single information accounts, banks etc because everything is now digitally stored in your google password manager, and surprisengly how google its self are approving such extensions to be publically available for their users, really dissapointed from google security team

Used to like and use it a lot. The saved marked pages started to disappear from the vault, the highlighted text to slide sometimes. Removing it.

It's super simple--hence it's name--and easy to use! Highly recommend

Why do you need additional permissions to read my browsing history to highlight text on webpages?

Great Highlighter, unfortunately quite unreliable. The highlighted text isn't permanent. Extension keeps the highlight for say 2-4 days and then auto-delete the highlights, beyond that period so if you visit the page after say a week most likely your highlights are gone. Tested on more than one site. Dev notes in FAQ that it could be due to change in sites markup but I can tell you tested on multiple sites with same issue. Highlights are gone after certain time-period.

Has worked once in the last 2ish years I've had it... don't get it.

It's nice while in use, but does not save and show your highlights after refreshing the page.

this will be awesome if auto backup to google drive or other services be available i used very much extensions but this is the best one of them.

I have been using this extension for years. Everything I read online I highlight. I have added many other colors, some with shortcuts.

this is honestly life changing. i was sitting here reading a school web assignment, thinking wow i would love to just highlight this rn. looked it up and here it was.
